Management
Richard L. Franks - Chief Executive Officer & Director
In addition to 15 years in the alternative fuels industry, Richard Franks
has served in a dual capacity as operations manager and in-house legal
counsel - both domestically and internationally - for construction firms,
waste handling and processing companies and large commercial composting
companies. Most recently, he was a principal partner in the start up and
commissioning of a municipal solid waste (MSW) to energy gasification plant
in Europe. Richard's career highlights include serving as the VP of Project
Development, COO and General Counsel of Phoenix Waste Services Company,
Inc., a company that built composting plants and transported municipal solid
waste; the Project Director and Chief Legal Counsel on a $100 million U.S.
aid financed infrastructure project in Egypt for Thames Water PLC, based in
London, and it's subsidiary LA Water Treatment Corp, that included three
water treatment plants in Egypt; managed sales, operations and legal
services for Waste Solutions, Inc in Houston, Texas, a turn-key supplier of
in-vessel composting plants. In addition to his project development and
construction management skills, Richard is a licensed attorney and former
judge specializing in construction law, contract administration and
drafting.
Travis K. Robinson - President & Director
Before joining Infinity as a Principal, Travis Robinson served as a
consultant to starts-ups and technology providers in renewable energy and
the rapidly emerging clean-tech industry under Robinson Environmental
Corporation. From 2002 until 2005, he was the Director of Business
Development for L&R Energy Company, LLC, an international energy and
technology company specializing in waste-to-energy power plants. At L&R
Energy, Travis co-managed the delivery and start-up of a 6.6 megawatt
gasification energy plant for a facility in northern Italy, working with
Richard Franks. From 1995 to 2002, he was the Director of US Operations and
Director of Sales for German companies providing industrial automotive
safety equipment. Travis earned a Bachelor of Science in International
Business and Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder, has
extensive experience in upper level management and operations and over a
decade in sales, marketing and key account management. Over the past five
years, he has developed close relationships with major clean-tech funds and
equity sources for project financing. In the past year he managed the merger
of two clean-tech start-up entities into one company with full SEC
compliance.
David R. Ross - Project Development Manager
David Ross has a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management from the
University of South Carolina, and has worked in the alternative fuels
industry for the past seven years, most recently, working with Richard
Franks as a project developer, researcher and coordinator for a predecessor
to Infinity Energy, Inc. Prior to his development work in renewable energy,
David was the Director of Operations for Power Services Associates, Inc. a
consulting and engineering firm in Atlanta serving the power plant industry.
His expertise includes project research and analysis, including evaluation
of project viability, project budgeting and modeling, information technology
acquisition and organization, and project development coordination and
management.
